Join me on this adventure to go deeper into your mind and body We rely heavily on all 5 of our senses to ground us and allow us to be guided through our daily lives and our practice. By removing one of these senses, our sight, we start to go a little deeper into our inner awareness of ourselves and how we move in space.
This practice will be a slow flow focusing on core engagement and releasing asanas to explore our inner workings of body and mind in unity; it will be an adventure. No previous experience of yoga needed, just an open mind and a willingness to go into the unknown.
Ever fancied trying your hand/head with an inversion? I bet you're thinking "I can't do that!" Well this is not true!
You may not be able to perform the 'perfect' headstand yet, but it is all about the preparation and practice In my inversion workshop, looking specifically at Salamba Sirsasana, supported Headstand, I will be delving deeper into this scary and seemingly unreachable pose. Looking further to how preparatory sequencing and strength building asanas can help you reach your goal
The 4 hour session will start with a dreamy flow class, focusing on arm and upper body strength preparing the body, then we will look at the peak pose Sirsasana and play around with turning upside down
After finding balance on our heads, it's time to relax over a warm cup of tea and some treats to refuel us after a challenging practice
If you fancy joining me on your mat to explore your limits and your potential in inversions then sign up to this workshop and drop me a line about what your trying to achieve, outlining three goals/dreams you have for the day. This could be anything from physical achievements to mental goals
Also if you could just make a quick note of any injuries you may have, that would be great
